Ingredients of the Almraunkerl
1/2 kg plain flour
a little cinnamon
Preparation of the Almraunkerl
Knead the dough and add some cinnamon. Leave to rest for 1 hour and then roll flat (not too thin). Use 1.5 cm cutters to cut out stars etc. and fry in hot vegetable fat until golden brown. Roll in the icing sugar and cinnamon mixture while still warm.
