600 km of cycle routes under one "roof“
The Velodrom Salzburger Seenland is the Austrian hotspot for all cycling enthusiasts.
The gentle hilly landscape of the Alpine foreland with Lake WALLERSEE, Lake MATTSEE, Lake GRABENSEE and Lake OBERTRUMER SEE stands for diverse tours of varying levels of difficulty. Amateur, leisure and sporty cyclists can expect well-developed cycle routes across a total of 600 kilometres, which lead over hills with magnificent views, through sparse forests and along unspoilt riverbanks. Whether for a trip into the blue or one of the 17 developed bike tours – seven hire and service stations as well as around 20 e-bike charging stations are available in any case.
In the Seenland (lake district), most of the tours are ideal for rallies because of their manageable length. After getting to know the country and its people, you always return to your accommodation.
The Velodrom Salzburger Seenland is characterised by a cultural landscape that combines Mozart and Silent Night highlights as well as centuries-old brewing traditions.
Culinary delights in Salzburg Seenland
The Trumer private brewery in Obertrum am See was founded in 1601 and has been owned by the Sigl family since 1775. Josef C. Sigl has been managing the family business in the eighth generation since 2013. Exclusively using natural hops, the specially developed method of open fermentation and the particularly long fermentation time according to the Slow Brewing philosophy make Trumer Pils a top representative of its genre.
