Family bike tour around GaPa
The cycle track takes you through flowering meadows past the Kreuzeck and Alpspitzbahn cable cars, where you can see the famous Kandahar Olympic downhill run. To admire the beautiful alpine panorama, find a place under the trees, which provide plenty of shade on hot days.
If you’re lucky, the small stretch of beach at the Herrgottschrofen right next to the bridge across the river Loisach might have some free spaces. Now it’s time to unpack your towel, blanket and snack, put your feet in the water to cool down and let the kids run around a bit.
A worthwhile stop is also the Frühlingsstraße, which is one of the most beautiful and most photographed streets in the town.
Those who have not yet had their cultural needs satisfied and still fancy a sweet treat can take a detour to the historical centre and the pedestrian zone (bikes must be pushed!) and treat themselves to a delicious ice cream at one of the ice cream parlours. Then push your bike a short distance to the Michael Ende Kurpark and simply enjoy the urban flair of GaPa.
