Varied cycling tour
The short tour over one of the most beautiful vantage points in our region combines training (chance to warm up and wheel along via Feyregg) and natural spectacles (views of the Krems Valley and foothills of the Alps in Krühub) from the start.
The section on the district road towards Nußbach sports centre is initially flat and then becomes notably steeper. The subsequent 3.9 km mountain stage gives you the opportunity to assess your power performance (stopwatch required) – more details are available in the sports centre; alternatively you can tackle the 763 m Weiss’n at any speed while marvelling at the varied route and wonderful views of the Totes Gebirge and Mühlviertel. At the viewing platform you can simply admire the view, assess your performance and/or enjoy a bite to eat. On the way back down you’ll go round fast bends via Sattel and Thürschelm towards Nußbach, and then more gently along moderately hilly small roads.
