Route description
We start from car park 1 at the Bauhof Bad Schwanberg and turn right over the bridge on Garanaser Straße towards the market square. Right past the Marien column, we cycle along the market square until we get to the pharmacy. We then follow the sign to the left and turn into Mainsdorfer Straße. We continue on this road to the junction with Stullnegger Straße (left at the bridge after the Anton Koch stadium).
After a while, the road goes into the so-called Stullnegg trenches. We now cycle uphill until we reach the mountain village of Glashütten.
We return via Gressenberg and pass the lovely Glashütten church. After a short descent we can stop for a bite to eat at the Alpengasthof Lenzbauer. After enjoying some hearty replenishments, we continue a few more kilometres down into the valley until we’re back at Bad Schwanberg market square.
