Start from the car park at the Luisenhöhe adventure mountain. Right at the start you can take a trip to Starhemberg Castle and the Haag am Hausruck Museum of Local History. Stop at “Weingenuss Zöbl” where you can sample some oils, vinegars and wines. Then continue to Leithen swimming lake and enjoy a refreshing dip in the water.

Carry on via Altenhof and towards Geboltskirchen. “Gasthaus Groiss” is the perfect place to stop and enjoy some fresh trout from the local ponds, which is freshly prepared every day. “Trauner’s Most und Fruchtsäfte” in Geboltskirchen is also worth a visit. You’ll find the most beautiful orchards at the biggest cider and juice producer in the Vitalwelt. You can also visit the shop to buy some cider and juices to take home with you. The Scheiben coal station is a good place for your next break and you should definitely enjoy a fun trip in a handcar while you’re there. The adventure route also takes you past the source of the Trattnach.

You’ve almost reached your destination but it can’t hurt to enjoy some replenishments. Stop at the “Möseneder-Pramendorfer” wine tavern and sample some regional delicacies and the cider. If you like things to be a bit sportier, you should visit the Luisenhöhe adventure mountain. After a short walk along the “Trail of the Senses” you can swing through the air in the “GoRuck” forest high-wire park.
