From Tramin you cycle along the cycle path to Neumarkt and along the Adige towards the north. You cycle leisurely between orchards and vineyards. Then follow the signs towards Bolzano. Shortly before the provincial capital, the cycle path winds slightly uphill along the old railway line towards Kaltern.
