Great Stremtal Tour

A long tour along the Strem.

An extensive cycle tour along the Strem from Ollersdorf via Stegersbach to Rauchwart and back again on the other side of the Strem. With a total of three refreshment stops.

The route first leads along the old main road from Ollersdorf to Stegersbach. Continue along the road up to the Bocksdorfer Berghäuser and then left down to the main road in Bocksdorf. Cross the road and continue along the gravel path past the sports field to the bridge. Cross the bridge and take the dirt track on the right towards Rauchwart. Along the banks of the Strem, past the first fish pond on the left, over the crest and straight ahead over the bridge on the right. After the bridge, turn left along the long gravel path to Fischtiech. Pass this on the right and turn left along the main road towards the bathing lake.
Here you can stop for a bite to eat for the first time. Take a break on the terrace of the bathing restaurant.
Then cycle northwards along the main road towards Bocksdorf. Follow the cycle path into the village. In the centre of Bocksdorf, cross over diagonally, pass the fountain on the right and follow the cycle path towards Stegersbach. In Stegersbach, briefly take the main road, then turn right and cycle along the lanes to the northern end of the village. Return to the main road here and continue to the end of Ollersdorf. Turn right there, round a bend over the Hocheck and back down onto the main road. Continue right again alongside the main road to Mizzis Wirtshaus.
Here you can make another stop for refreshments.
Then continue alongside the main road to "Obere Bergen". Cross the main road there and turn back southwards. Return along the cycle path to Ollersdorf. At the beginning of Ollersdorf, at the small pond, take the Mühlweg to the right uphill to the starting point.
