A 313-kilometre route that takes in all the highlights of Eastern Switzerland.
The Lake and Alps Main Route is the centrepiece of the Lake and Alps road cycling and gravel region. It connects large parts of eastern Switzerland to form a common cycling area and forms the basis for various extension tours from one of the stage locations. The route links all the cantons and tourist regions that are united under the umbrella of Lake and Alps.
The original route can only be completed by a few cyclists in one day and can be divided into any number of stages. There are numerous highlights along the entire route that can be combined into one-day tours. There are numerous cycle-friendly hotels along the route and many cultural, sporting and culinary highlights to discover.
