Ollersdorf-Rauchwart

A cycle tour from Ollersdorf via the Rauchwarter bathing lake and fish pond back to Ollersdorf.

The tour leads largely on tarmac roads from Ollersdorf to Rauchwart. In Rauchwart you pass the fish ponds and the bathing lake. There is an opportunity to take a break at the bathing restaurant about halfway along the route. The route then returns past the Stegersbach thermal spa to Ollersdorf.

From Ollersdorf take the old main road to Stegersbach. Continue along the goods road to Bocksdorf-Berghäuder. Here turn left downhill, past the sports ground, along the gravel or field path towards Rauchwart. Cross over to the left bank at the bridge. Follow the field path past the rear fish pond on the left. Cross over again at the bridge, go left down the straight gravel path. Pass the fish pond on the right and take the road on the left down to Rauchwart. Take a break at the bathing restaurant. Then take the cycle path back to Bocksdorf along the main road. In Stegersbach, after the junction of the outward and return routes, cycle up Birkengasse to Oberbergen. Turn right there to Grazer Strasse. Keep left towards Burgau. Soon turn right again towards the thermal baths. At Fabitsgraben turn left towards Therme, up Thermenstrasse past Therme Stegersbach, up to the forest. Turn right into the golf area. Via paths and gravel tracks (GPS not a disadvantage) across the area to the ditch. Here up the road to the Neudauer Landesstrasse, destination.
