Pfälzerhütte tour
The Pfälzerhütte, the highest mountain bike destination in Liechtenstein, is located at 2108 metres above sea level.
The tour there starts at the two hut neighbourhoods of Steg and initially leads into the Valüna valley with only a slight incline. Behind the alpine buildings, the ascent continues in the direction of Alp Gritsch and from there to the Pfälzerhütte. The ascent shortly after passing the Gritsch alpine huts is challenging and can only be mastered by experienced bikers. The reward is a view of the imposing mountain scenery from the top. This can be enjoyed even better in the restaurant of the Alpine Club hut. The descent back to Steg follows the same route, which consists entirely of natural roads.
