Rhine Valley Bike
The Rhine Valley Bike Route leads from Balzers to Ruggell. The special thing about it is that it crosses the entire Principality of Liechtenstein lengthwise.
While the route in the southern Liechtenstein Oberland mainly runs along the mountain flank of the Rätikon, it passes through flat reed landscapes and the gentle western slope of the Eschnerberg ridge in the northern Unterland. The route largely follows the rest of Liechtenstein's bike network and is labelled "Rheintal Bike 48".
The Rhine Valley Bike can be reached from all of Liechtenstein's towns and villages, meaning that shorter sections of this generally challenging bike tour are also possible.
