Štrekna
The Štrekna is one of the most beautiful and well-developed cycle paths in Slovenia. It runs along the former railway line between Velenje and Dravograd and offers a completely asphalted, car-free cycling experience - ideal for leisure cyclists as well as those with sporting ambitions.
Numerous rest areas and sights along the route invite you to take a relaxing break. The route can be organised flexibly: Whether a short family ride or an extended day tour - everyone will find the right distance here. The journey towards Austria is particularly pleasant, as the route is gentle and mainly downhill.
Štrekna
At weekends, the Štrekna bus with bike trailer supplements the offer and connects important places along the route to the Lavamünd bathing lake in Austria. This means you can plan your return journey in complete relaxation - either actively on your bike or comfortably by bus.
The route between Mislinja and Slovenj Gradec is recommended for families with small children: around 10 kilometres in each direction with a moderate profile. Ambitious cyclists should ideally start in Velenje and cycle to Dravograd or on to Austria - a total of around 42 kilometres.
A special service: Grof Cycling takes you comfortably to the starting point of your tour by van and picks you up again afterwards.
