A cycle tour after work should not be too long or too strenuous, but still offer enough variety and diversion: On this tour, which starts and ends in Waldkraiburg, there is plenty of both. Along the banks of the Inn Canal and the Inn, the route heads upstream for a while before turning off to the north, where the Ametsbichler brewery in Aschau am Inn is now in its fifth generation of brewing the best organic beers. The route continues via Heldenstein to Ampfing, where the Schweppermann chapel is located in the district of Wimpasing, and back to Waldkraiburg with its mini golf course and themed trail. The swimming pond in Heldenstein and the "Grüne Lagune" natural swimming pool in Ampfing are great places to cool off.
TIP: The "17-Kirchen-Blick" above Heldenstein is particularly beautiful in the evening.
