- Visit the information centre of the black human newt at Jelševnik and get to know the mysterious relative of the better-known white human newt. This is the only known natural habitat of the Močerila, which means that it is endemic to Bela Krajina. At the Zupančič farm, you will be introduced to it in more detail and, if you are lucky, you will see the mysterious underground animal through an infrared camera.

- Hidden at the foot of Mirna Mountain is a natural jewel, the torrent. Relax to the sound of the babbling brook and stroll among the trees.

- On the way between Metlika and Drašiči, you will be accompanied by a birch forest with bracken, which is called steljnik in Bela Krajina and is a protected cultural heritage site. Stop, rest on the former willows and listen carefully, perhaps the fern will whisper something to you.

- In the wine metropolis of Bela Krajina, Drašiči, you will notice a very interesting building, the Soseska Zidanica Drašiči. Here you will learn about the history and functioning of the neighbourhood wine cellars as a unique wine bank.
