Wheel 8
Wonderful cycle tour in the Inntal and Mangfalltal valleys in the shape of a figure of eight with many cultural, scenic and culinary highlights in the places of pleasure or catering establishments with "Excellent Bavarian Cuisine". Also very suitable as a gravel bike tour!
The Mühltal is temporarily closed due to flood damage, so please use the RO9 road.
! Please pay attention to the traffic!
Over a distance of around 130 kilometres, a figure of eight is cycled in its entirety. From Raubling/Großholzhausen, the intersection of the two arcs, the route leads via Neubeuern, Samerberg and Nußdorf to Kiefersfelden in the Kaiser-Reich. From the municipality in the lower Inn Valley, which marks the southernmost point of the tour, the route leads back to the starting point via Oberaudorf, Flintsbach and Brannenburg. From here, the second arc of the route runs along Bad Feilnbach, Bruckmühl, Maxlrain, Bad Aibling, Kolbermoor, Westerndorf, Nicklheim and ends again in Raubling/Großholzhausen, where the tour began.
A refreshment stop at the gourmet centres of Bad Feilnbach or Rohrdorf or at the establishments of the "Excellent Bavarian Cuisine": Entenwirt am Samerberg, Braustüberl and Schlosswirt in Maxlrain will keep you energised in between!
