Lake Walen culinary tour
On this highlight tour, you cycle along Lake Walen, often directly along the shore. Impressive is the Churfirsten mountain range on the north side of the lake, which rises steeply upwards like a fjord. Before you get on the boat, you pass one of the highest waterfalls in Switzerland and it’s worth taking a short detour to the spraying water. There you will learn that, in addition to the Seerenbach Falls, water also shoots into the Churfirsten from an underground lake.
Book the package that includes an approximately 1-hour boat trip and enjoy a dessert at the final culinary stop.

- Lake Walen: The long stretched out Lake Walen primarily captures attention on the north shore with the Churfirsten mountain range, which rises steeply upwards. Not only grapes but also figs and kiwis grow on the shores of Lake Walen thanks to the mild climate.
- Rinquelle (Rin Spring) and Seerenbach Falls: One of the highest waterfalls in Switzerland. The Seerenbach Falls form a cascade of three waterfalls with a total height of 585 m. The Rin Spring also merges in the gorge where the Seerenbach Falls plunge impressively into the deep. Considerable masses of water pour out from an underground cave system into a 22-metre deep abyss.
- Boat trip on Lake Walen: The route connects all the villages on Lake Walen. Zigzagging across the lake, you can get from one end to the other in 90 minutes. The small wine-growing village of Quinten at the foot of the Churfirsten mountain range can only be accessed by boat (or on foot).
- Lake Walen Activity Experience – the discovery adventure for families. The secret surrounding the legend of a sunken ghost ship is waiting to be revealed. The solution to this mystery can be found on the ship and at the themed playgrounds around Lake Walen.
