Mitterberg cycle tour
The Mitterberg is a long, forested ridge between Lake Kaltern and the Adige. The tour takes you once around this ridge.
From Tramin set off on the cycle path towards Neumarkt and along the Adige towards the north. It will take you between orchards and vineyards. Then follow the signs towards Bolzano. Just before you reach the state capital, the cycle path winds onto the old railway line and takes you up a slight incline towards Kaltern.
