The Gasthof Zur Post has always characterised the townscape of Maishofen, the little gem in Salzburger Land. Centrally located, close to the Hohe Tauern, the Gasthof Zur Post forms the centre of the village together with the church and the village fountain.
Even in the past, the inn was a popular meeting place for the local population and the venue for many events and cultural performances. A tradition of which we are very proud and which we will continue in the best possible way in the future.

On the upper floor of our house you literally float "above things", the view of the Hohe Tauern alone gives you strength and relaxation. With a bit of luck, you will find the most beautiful sunset of your life in our small but beautiful sauna area.
