16-lake tour by bike
Cycle through two nature reserves with 16 enchanting lakes. On almost 70 kilometres, you cycle past the former ice tongues of the Inn and Chiemsee glaciers.
The cycle route leads through the two nature reserves "Seeoner Seen" and "Eggstätt-Hemhofer Seenplatte". In this marshy area, you will not only pass one enchanting lake. Traces of the past, 16 lakes in all, formerly ice tongues of the Inn and Chiemsee glaciers. In warm temperatures, you can swim in nine of these lakes. The route has a somewhat elongated shape, so shortcuts are possible at any time if the route becomes too long. Another highlight is the Seeon Monastery (on the Klostersee) on the route.
