Cycle tour with stops in the Isarwinkel region

Discover the Isarwinkel by bike: start the circular tour at the Isar bridge in Lenggries. Follow the mountain trail to Wackersberg and continue through Bad Tölz and Gaißach back to Lenggries.

The cycle tour starts at the Isarbrücke bridge in Lenggries and leads along the Höhenweg past farmhouses with views of the Brauneck towards Wackersberg. A first resting place with a bench and a marvellous view of the Brauneck awaits you on the Höhenweg. Continue down to Arzbach (short section on the main road). The cycle path leads towards Bad Tölz. If you need information about the old town, visit the tourist information centre at Max-Höfler-Platz 1, stop off at an old town restaurant or buy a snack for the next stop. The route leads via the Girlitzer Weiher to Gaißach to the Pestkreuz, where you can enjoy your snack on a bench in a quiet location.

A gravel path leads to Gaißach church (St Michael). Then follow the cycle path through Gaißach to Steinbach. Cross the road and follow the route to the next resting place, a field cross with a chapel. Here you can find peace and quiet and enjoy the view of the Brauneck.
