At the foot of the imposing Three Sisters massif, the tarmac road leads to the mountain village of Planken, which is located on a mountain terrace around 800 metres above sea level. After passing the last houses, the route branches off into the forest and leads along a natural road with a steady ascent to the pastures of Alp Gafadura.
At the end, the Gafadura hut invites you to linger before tackling the way back.
