Lake Constance cycle path
With Lake Constance almost always in view, the international Lake Constance cycle route leads through Switzerland, the Austrian Vorarlberg and Germany.
Together with countless bathing spots, pretty towns, great playgrounds and perfect public transport connections, the Lake Constance cycle path is one of the best ways to discover this jewel. The cycle path begins in Bregenz, Austria. The route crosses the Rhine and already at Gaissau the route changes to Rheineck in Switzerland. The route continues to Altenrhein. The tour continues past the market hall to Rorschach and then along the shores of Lake Constance to Arbon. The tour then continues to Romanshorn.
Through the villages of Uttwil and Kesswil you reach Altnau. The route continues via Kreuzlingen to Gottlieben, with views of the Wollmatinger Ried nature reserve. The route continues through the former fishing village of Ermatingen to Berlingen and then on to Stein am Rhein.
