Napoleon route on Untersee
This cycle tour harbours cultural treasures on Untersee that will make you reminisce about Napoleon's time. It is also suitable for group excursions.
The start and finish are at the Tour de Suisse Rad AG (TdS) in Kreuzlingen. Before the tour, you can marvel at the premises of the bicycle factory. The route first leads to the Napoleon Tower in Wäldi. As you climb the 200 steps, you will learn fascinating facts about the tower's historical background. Once you reach the viewing platform, you are rewarded with a fantastic view of the surrounding countryside. The tour continues to Arenenberg. Here we recommend having lunch at the Bistro Luis Napoleon in the name of the emperor. A stone's throw away, you can visit the Napoleon Museum after your lunch break. Afterwards, leave the Arenenberg behind you and take a leisurely ride along the lake line back to Kreuzlingen.
