Racebike Tour
This varied cycle tour leads through the wide Aichfeld region and combines fast flat sections with gentle climbs to create a sporty overall tour.
The starting point is the Red Bull Ring near Spielberg. From here, you initially cycle on flat roads via Knittelfeld and Kobenz - ideal for familiarising yourself with the area. The terrain then becomes a little more challenging: the route continues slightly uphill via several junctions of the "Nimm's Radl" network before a long descent down to St. Lorenzen - the lowest point of the tour.
The undulating middle section then begins: via Weißkirchen and on towards Judenburg, the route runs partly along the Mur and offers scenic sections. In the last third, there is another climb towards Pöls, where the highest point of the tour is reached.
The final section back to the starting point is perfect for racing cyclists: slightly downhill, often with a tailwind - perfect for picking up the pace again and bringing the tour to a sporty close.
