Continue along the route of the Alpe-Adria cycle path! Along the picturesque Salzach Valley and past the saltworks town of Hallein, you reach the market town of Golling with its impressive medieval castle and the spectacular Golling waterfalls.

Southern flair on the Alpe-Adria Cycle Path to Grado

Via Bischofshofen and St. Johann im Pongau, your cycling holiday continues into the wild and romantic Gastein Valley. How about an enjoyable break amidst these massive mountain peaks?

Once you arrive in Böckstein, you travel by train to Mallnitz in Carinthia before getting back on the saddle and cycling along the Alpe-Adria Cycle Path towards Villach. You will pass beautiful lakes such as Lake Millstatt, Lake Faak and Lake Ossiach - perfect for an extended swimming break.

A glance at the map of the Alpe-Adria Cycle Path shows that you cross the border into Italy at Arnoldstein/Tarvis.
