In the cosy village of Aschau, challenging changes of perspective await you in the 16-metre-high climbing hall.
If you're not necessarily the action type, but are still looking for an enjoyable change from cycling, Fügen, the largest town in the front Zillertal, is the perfect place for you: The local history museum, the Zillertal hay milk dairy and the Zillertaler Speckstube bacon parlour are just some of the attractions waiting to be discovered. For the perfect cool-down in between, it's worth making a short stop at the Schlitterer bathing lake.

The market town of Mayrhofen in the Zillertal, which is the starting point of the cycle tour, leaves nothing to be desired by guests in both summer and winter. This is where all the strengths and characteristics that make the valley so special come together. The route then continues towards Zell am Ziller - the holiday resort that is known far beyond the borders of the country for its annual Gauderfest. If you fancy an adventure, then venture into the 45,000 m² leisure park there - before getting back on the saddle and cycling on to Aschau.
Right in the heart of the Zillertal lies the next cosy community with just under 1,900 inhabitants: a mixture of fun and relaxation awaits you here too. Further along your cycle tour, you will pass Fügen, the largest town in the front Zillertal. It not only offers cultural highlights, but also experiences for young and old. The Zillertal Cycle Path takes you to Strass, where it finally joins the Inn Cycle Path. So if you want to extend your leisure cycle tour, you can either cycle on towards Innsbruck, the modern capital of Tyrol, or to the holiday region of Kufstein.
