Set off by cycling to St. Blasien along quiet supply roads in a southerly direction with the entire alpine panorama spread out in front of you. You‘ll need to pay a bit more attention to traffic on a section of state road and pedal a bit harder on the short incline – and then the pilgrimage site of Adlwang is right in front of you.
The late Gothic Marienkirche with its precious image of the Virgin Mary is located in the centre of the town. Behind it in the Sulzbach valley is the so-called “Augenbründl” well.
Continue through typical farmland towards Pfarrkirchen, where you can visit the unique rococo church of St. George. It’s worth knowing that until 1785 Bad Hall was only an “appendage” of the local parish. Incidentally, the source of the Tassilo is also located in the Pfarrkirchen district.
