The cycle path challenges you with demanding inclines. It starts in Kramesau and connects with the Danube cycle path. Already on the first stage to Neustift, you can pedal vigorously to ascend from the lowlands of the Danube valley to the highlands of Mühlviertel. In the Bohemian Forest, you eventually reach the border with Czechia.

Along the way, you’ll encounter stops such as Aigen-Schlägl with its large Premonstratensian collegiate church and Schwarzenberg with the wooden sculpture park before reaching the Textile Center Haslach. There, a dedicated museum documents the long tradition of linen weaving. Your journey continues eastward, reaching Bad Leonfelden, where the moor and the teachings of Father Kneipp are beneficial for your health. You can also visit the school museum and the Schwedenschanze to gain insight into the past. A detour to Windhaag near Freistadt is also worthwhile.
