Thaya Round Cycle Trail
Hobby cyclists of all ages will ride along former rail tracks on the Thaya Round Cycle Trail. Yet you won’t have any reason to start puffing and panting like an old steam train on this leisurely route: the 111 kilometre-long steam train route was straightened back in the early days and around 50 kilometres were recently resurfaced.
Round off your stay
Anyone who wants to design their own tours can also choose from a range of excursion cycle routes. Experienced cyclists can conquer most routes in one day and experience their own personal Waldviertel cycling adventure.
Selected guesthouses and hotels along the three top cycle routes invite cyclists to relax, stay overnight and enjoy themselves.
