On almost 30 km and approx. 300 metres in altitude, we will not only accompany you to many well-known locations of the popular cult series, but also take you on a wonderful circular tour between the Loisach Valley and Lake Starnberg.
Experience the unique landscape of the Loisach Valley and Lake Starnberg and the filming locations of the cult series on a leisurely cycle tour. The suggested route of 30.8 km and 309 metres difference in altitude runs mainly on existing cycle paths and side roads with little traffic and is suitable for families. Enjoy the rustic Upper Bavarian foothills of the Alps, the impressive mountain panorama and the wonderful rest stops on this varied circular tour. You can indulge in culinary delights at many of the locations, so that nothing stands in the way of a great day on the trail of Hubert & Staller.
Roadbook
We cycle from Wolfratshausen to Achmühle on the Loisach cycle path. In the centre of Achmühle, we follow the signpost towards Bolzwang. Shortly before Bolzwang, we cross the motorway bridge. Then follow the road to Degerndorf.
In Degerndorf, turn left as far as the maypole, go straight on for a short distance, then turn right and follow the "Berg" signpost. Take the next left, then follow the road. Halfway along the road, in Sonderham, turn right at "Maria-Dank-Kapelle". Straight ahead you will see the village of Berg, in the centre of which is the Landgasthof Berg. From "Maria-Dank-Kapelle" in the direction of "Ambach/Holzhausen"
Follow the road. Cross the main road, opposite "Schloßhotel Oberambach" . Follow the road to Lake Starnberg. At the lake, turn right heading north. Immediately right "Hotel Huber am See" Continue to the Ammerland landing stage and "Hotel am See". Backtrack briefly, then turn left, immediately afterwards on the left-hand side you will see the Café GRAF bakery - the "Rattlinger". Then follow the road to Münsing. Follow Dorfstraße to the Limm butcher's shop. Then follow the cycle signs to Wolfratshausen on the right. After Münsing, at the edge of the forest, do not turn left but cycle straight on into the forest. Follow the forest path to the main road. Then turn left down the hill until you reach the Loisach cycle path. Cycle back to Marienplatz Wolfratshausen.
