This marvellous loop around the three lakes Mattsee, Obertrumer See and Grabensee leads through the impressive natural and cultural landscape of the Salzburg Lake District.

The north car park on the Mattsee bypass road is a good starting point, where there is no parking fee. The cycle path leads in a southerly direction via Mitterhof to Obertrum along the lake of the same name past fields and meadows. You have to cycle a short stretch on the main road before you can turn off onto the cycle path at Mitterhof.
The first of five cradles along the route invites you to take a relaxing break. In the town centres of Obertrum, Seeham and Perwang, you can stop for a refreshment in one of the restaurants. After Seeham, the new cycle path leads through the forest towards Perwang along the unspoilt Grabensee lake.
The idyllic cycle route leads through the hamlet of Gransdorf towards the campsite via Rödhausen and Singham to Stein and, after a short climb, to Gebertsham. There, ambitious cyclists can look forward not only to the filial church with its famous winged altar, but also to a magnificent view across the Mattsee lake to the Alps. The cycle signposting was renewed throughout the Salzburg Lake District and surrounding villages in 2019 so that you can find your way around easily.
