
Ingredients for the apple wheels
- Apples
- 200 ml milk
- coarse flour
- a pinch of salt
- 1-2 eggs
- Clarified butter
- Icing sugar
- Cinnamon
Preparation of the apple wheels
- Peel the apples, remove the core, cut into 1 cm thick wheels and place in water to prevent them from browning.
- Mix the eggs, milk and salt.
- Stir in the flour until the mixture thickens.
- Heat the clarified butter in a pan.
- Flour the apple wheels and pull through the batter.
- Bake slowly in clarified butter until golden brown.
- Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.
