
Ingredients for the bratwurst ragout
- 4 St. Gallen sausages, 130 g each
- 50 g chopped onions
- 50 g frying fat or rapeseed oil
- 250 g tinned tomatoes
- 1 small chilli pepper, finely chopped
- 10 g mild curry
- 10 g cornflour
- 5 g table salt
Preparation of bratwurst ragout
- Cut the sausages into 10 equal pieces, fry briefly in a little fat and set aside.
- Sweat the chopped onions with a little fat until translucent, add the tomatoes and simmer.
- Add the chopped chilli pepper to taste and season and thicken with the remaining ingredients.
- Add the pre-fried sausage pieces and heat briefly.
Tip: Serve with a fresh Bürli or chips.
