As its name suggests, the Cherry Blossom Cycle Track takes you through avenues of cherry trees, which are undoubtedly at their most beautiful during the blossoming period from April to May. The Leithaberg Edelkirsche region is one of 11 regions in Burgenland where cherries can be enjoyed. The route leads through idyllic villages such as Breitenbrunn, Purbach and Donnerskirchen. A special place for a stop is certainly the historic Kellergasse in Purbach, which invites its visitors to enjoy a glass of wine in a cosy atmosphere. The towns of Neusiedl am See and Podersdorf can also be easily reached by ferry from Breitenbrunn.
