The start of the cycling culture trip takes us past the Tassilo spring in the Sulzbach and then via Feyregg to Dehenwang. In Brading, the road meanders between farmsteads. Down in the valley is the source of Hall drinking water for the Kremsmünster area. After the next knoll we finally come to the long descent – hangers in the commercial area make Kremsegg Palace seem even more humble, Kremsmünster market place is a lively location directly by the river and the monastery rises up in a dominant position on a terrain level above the Krems. The imperial hall, collegiate church, observatory and mosque form the impressive south front. The interior of the complex is filled with a wealth of treasures and remains a spiritual and religious centre under the leadership of abbot Ambros. Incidentally, he was a very popular priest in Bad Hall for many years and there are many connections between the two places!
Enriched with our good impressions, we cycle on flat terrain in the Krems Valley to Rohr and along the former rail road to Bad Hall.
