The Eastern Switzerland Wine Route combines idyllic vineyards with scenic and cultural highlights. The tour starts in Schaffhausen with the spectacular Rhine Falls and leads through the Zurich wine country, past Lake Husemer and along the sunny Thur plain.
Via Ittingen Charterhouse and the Ottenberg, the route reaches Weinfelden. From there, the route leads through the green Thur floodplains to Bischofszell, via Hauptwil and Gossau, before finally reaching the monastery town of St. Gallen.
