Limestone tour
This tour starts in St. Johann in Tirol (Murweg) and leads along the river Fieberbrunner Ache and Winkl-Sonnseite to Fieberbrunn. A steep and long approach leads via Obwall to St. Jakob in Haus. Ride through the idyllic hamlets Flecken, Schwendt and Straß of St. Ulrich am Pillersee to the beautiful Lake Pillersee. Follow the wide trail along the right side of the lake to the little pilgrimage church in St. Adolari. Pick up the bicycle path to your left, which takes you to the pristine Öfenschlucht Gorge, a fascinating natural attraction thanks to its unique rock formations. Continue along the Pillersee federal road to the center of Waidring where you take the village road, which runs above the base terminal of the gondola Steinplatte. Ride through the underpass and pick up the cycleway via Enthgrieß to Erpfendorf. In Erpfendorf you can either change to the Großachendamm river trail to Kirchdorf or stay on the same side and use the underpass. From the center of Kirchdorf take the bike trail along the river Großache back to St. Johann in Tirol.
