Reiteralm Tour
This tour starts in Schladming at the Planet Planai valley station. You’ll go up to the Untertal through the idyllic Talbach Gorge. You’ll cycle on a lovely meadow path past the Obertal railway and briefly downhill into the centre of Rohrmoos. After passing a few farms, the road becomes a lovely forest trail.
Once you’re back on the road, you change onto the other side of the valley and the ascent on the Reiteralm starts. The incline is very pleasant; you’ll quickly conquer the short and slightly steeper passage en route to the Reiteralm Lake, where you’ll reach the highest point of the tour. There are 2 alternatives available for the descent. You can either follow the Reiteralm toll road down towards Pichl, or you can enjoy the descent on one of the single trails.
