Trumer Lakes Route
The north car park at the Mattsee bypass, where no parking fee is charged, is an ideal starting point. The cycle track leads in a southerly direction via Mitterhof to Obertrum along the lake of the same name, past fields and meadows. You have to cycle on the main road for a short distance before you can turn off onto the cycle track at Mitterhof.
The first of five wooden loungers along the route invites you to take a relaxing break. The pub gardens in the town centre of Obertrum, Seeham and Perwang invite you to stop for refreshment. After Seeham, the new cycle track takes you through the forest towards Perwang along the unspoilt Lake Grabensee.
The idyllic cycle route leads through the hamlets of Gransdorf towards the campsite via Rödhausen and Singham to Stein and, after a short ascent, to Gebertsham. Once arrived there, ambitious cyclists can look forward to seeing the chapel with its famous winged altar and enjoying a wonderful view across Lake Mattsee to the Alps. In 2019, the cycle track signposts were updated throughout the lake district and surrounding villages, making it easier to find your way around.
