Cycle tour from Algund into the Passeier Valley

Through wonderful blooming landscapes from Algund into the Passeier Valley… simply unique!
A 20 km long cycle path takes you from Algund into the beautiful Passeier Valley. From Gartendorf, continue to the spa town of Merano from where the cycle path with its continuous gentle incline takes you through blossoming orchards along the Passer river. The invigorating Passer accompanies you along the entire cycle path.
Some of the route is asphalted and it later becomes a gravel path. To the right of the cycle path lies the village of Schenna with its castle, church and mausoleum of the Archduke Johann. On the left-hand side are the villages of Tyrol, Kuens and Riffian. The well-signposted route takes you to St. Leonhard without any major inclines. You can then ride back to Algund on the same cycle path. Set off on this lovely cycle tour and discover the special landscape and virtually unspoilt natural surroundings.
