HOPS LOOP
Fragrant hop gardens, gentle hills and calm rivers – the hops loop on the Upper Bavarian Water Cycling Trails takes you along perfectly maintained cycle trails in the north of Munich. The Isar and Danube accompany you through the Hallertau, the largest hop-growing area in the world. Beer gardens, breweries and the German Hops Museum show the Bavarian brewing culture – from the small hops plant to the final product.

SALT LOOP
The “white gold” previously made towns such as Traunstein, Wasserburg or Burghausen rich; today, the route along the Salzach is rich in cycling kilometres: 380, to be precise. You can trace the salt back to its origin in Bad Reichenhall and combine food and wellness with a jump into the Wöhrsee, Chiemsee or Simssee lakes.

ART LOOP
Bavarian Hollywood in the Bavaria Film Studios, Sissi’s living room by Lake Starnberg or the home of the Blue Rider in Murnau: 340 kilometres of culture can be cycled along in the south-west of Munich. The Walchensee, Starnberg, Ammersee and Tegernsee lakes are some of the most beautiful natural treasures in the region and are located along the route.
