The Central Burgenland-Rosalia region in Burgenland is deeply rooted in its wines – as are the region’s diverse and flavoursome cultural and culinary offerings. The mild climate and the Pannonian sun are perfect for both cyclists and vines! The region can be explored in a sporty or leisurely way, with or without an electric tailwind, on around 20 attractive cycle paths – through idyllic villages, extensive forests, orchards, vineyards and pond areas.
For example, the B32 Rosalia cycle path leads through the unique flora and fauna of the Rosalia-Kogelberg Nature Park and the B45 Sonnenland Tour through the diversity of Central Burgenland. And on hot summer days, refreshing bathing lakes invite you to cool off, relax and unwind.

In the Central Burgenland-Rosalia region, regional nature park specialities are combined with a wide variety of wines to guarantee pure enjoyment! After all, we are located between Blaufränkischland and the only Rosé DAC region in Austria. In between, there is also a variety of landscapes ranging from strawberry fields and bathing lakes to numerous cultural assets such as Forchtenstein Castle. And, of course, plenty of wine taverns, gourmet shops and traditional inns that invite you to stop off and sample typical regional specialities such as pineapple and strawberries, homemade prosciutto from the “Heidewuggerl” or delicacies from the sweet chestnut tree!
