Gumpen Valley Route
Travel up on the 8-seater cable car – and from there up another 100 metres and via forest and meadow paths into the Gumpen Valley. Past chalets where you can enjoy a bite to eat and then on an asphalted road back to the starting point.
Once you’ve reached the mountain station, go up a cumulative elevation gain of 100 metres on the forest path before starting the descent into the Gumpen Valley. Cycle freely along gentle meadow and forest paths down into the wonderful valley. Once you reach the Schmiedalm, follow the road that climbs gradually up a slight cumulative elevation gain for 1 km to the Stanglalm, which is also the turnaround point for the tour. After enjoying a short break, start the descent towards Haus im Ennstal. You’ll go downhill past lovely chalets on the forest road, which becomes an asphalted road at the Wellness Hotel Höflehner. Once you arrive in Ruperting, follow the road back home to the valley station of the cable car in the Enns Valley.
