From the centre of the Donnersbachwald, the route takes you up to the Vordere Mörsbachalm with places to stop to eat and charge your e-bike. Then enjoy a sedate ride on the Hintere Mörsbachalm, where there is a further Bike & Hike station and hiking opportunities. Return via the Oxenalm, where you can also get refreshments, and then back downhill to the starting point.

Mörsbach Route
From the starting point, the forest trail takes you up to the Vordere Mörsbachalm where Theo, the landlord of the “Mörsbach”, invites you to enjoy a bite to eat in his chalet. It becomes flatter from here and the Mörsbach Valley reveals its most beautiful side. We can take a brief detour to the Hintere Mörsbachalm. There is no place to stop here but the meadow is cultivated. Those wanting to go up to the summit can lock their bikes up at a Bike & Hike station. The Große Bärneck is the ideal destination for a hike from here.
The return route goes via the Oxenalm, which you can reach via a short flat section then two hairpin bends up to the highest point. The journey back down takes 10 minutes. Safe in the knowledge that there are no further ascents, you can particularly enjoy the views and food here. Follow the signs on the forest trail and back to the starting point in Donnersbachwald.
