The start and finish point of the tour is the charming town of Villach, from where you cycle back to Lake Ossiach via Lake Klopein and Klagenfurt.

From 21 to 25 May 2025, this special event invites all pleasure cyclists to a multi-day tour on the Carinthian Lake Loop. The start and finish point of the tour is the charming town of Villach, from where you cycle back to Lake Ossiach via Lake Klopein and Klagenfurt.
Unforgettable stages and regional delicacies
The Velovista begins with a relaxed ride along the Drau cycle path through the idyllic Rosental valley to Lake Klopein, the warmest bathing lake in Carinthia. Here, participants can expect culinary highlights and live music in a unique atmosphere.
On the second day, the route leads to Klagenfurt, where the ‘Hafenzwitschern’ event in the Lendhafen harbour offers a very special experience. The evening is crowned with an impressive performance in Klagenfurt’s historic castle courtyard.
The third day is all about individual discoveries: Relaxing at the Klagenfurt lido, a boat trip on Lake Wörthersee or an excursion into the surrounding area – the possibilities are endless.
The fourth day takes you along the picturesque Lend Canal to Velden and back to Villach. The crowning glory is a relaxing evening at the Kärnten Therme spa. The last day takes you around Lake Ossiach with a detour to the former Benedictine monastery of Ossiach – a place full of history and tranquillity.
