Baked feta cheese in cider-cinnamon batter
4 pcs. sheep's or goat's cream cheese
1/8 litre must
100 g flour
2 pcs. Eggs
Vanilla sugar
Cinnamon
Oil for baking
Strawberry must ragout
250 g strawberries
20 g cornflour
40 g icing sugar
100 ml must
Baked feta cheese in cider-cinnamon batter
Separate the eggs. Mix together the grape juice, sugar, cinnamon, vanilla and egg yolks. Then fold in the beaten egg white. Pull the feta cheese through the grape juice and cinnamon dough and deep fry in hot oil. Then place it on a bamboo skewer.
Tip: drain the cream cheese well and only pull it through the dough once it has cooled down. Otherwise it will leak out while baking. A more solid cheese is recommended.
Strawberry and grape juice ragout
Cut the strawberries into small pieces. Put them in a pan with some grape juice and icing sugar, bring to the boil and thicken with a mixture of corn starch and water.
