Filled pastries

Ingredients of the filled pastries
160 g butter
40 g sugar
1/2 tsp salt
3 egg yolks
1 whole egg
30 g yeast
1/4 litre milk
500 g flour
jam to taste
icing sugar
Preparation of the filled pastries
Beat the butter until soft. Gradually mix in the sugar, salt, egg yolks and the whole egg. Dissolve the yeast in the milk. Mix together the dough, yeast and flour. Knead the dough until it falls off the spoon. Leave to rise in a warm place, then roll out to finger thickness. Cut into strips approximately 5 cm wide and 7 cm long. Coat each strip with 1 teaspoon of jam and roll up.
Place the pastries in a saucepan greased with butter (with the dough ends facing upwards). Coat the “seams” with butter. Cover the frying pan with a cloth and leave the pastries to rise again. Coat again with melted butter and bake for around 1 hour.
Separate the pastries from one another and sprinkle with icing sugar.
