Five nature-loving Upper Austrian farmers have joined forces to bring the hazelnut into the Traunviertel.
The square farm buildings lie embedded in the gently rolling landscape at the foothills of the Alps. Fields where wheat and corn used to grow are now home to hazelnut trees, which are initially very small. From the field to the table, completely sustainable and organic quality, the hazelnuts from the farmers are considered to be a superfood and an ideal snack for when you’re on the go.
